The Rocky Horror Picture Show at Cornerstone

Dust off your fishnets and pleather, it’s time to do the Time Warp again! Cornerstone Center for the Arts is excited to kick off a busy fall with its annual showing of The Rocky Horror Picture Show presented by The Fickle Peach and The Mark III Tap Room. The show will be held on Saturday, September 24 in the E.B. Ball Auditorium at Cornerstone.

Step out of your comfort zone and into the world of Dr. Frank N. Furter with an interactive showing of the cult classic film featuring The Old Queen’s Men Shadow Cast. The evening will begin with a special VIP event at 6 p.m. with doors opening at 7 p.m. for general admission. The show starts at 8 p.m. with pre-show entertainment by Scarevania’s Freakhouse Flicks. The Mark III Tap Room will provide a cash bar for the evening. Admission is open to adults ages 18 and up.

The VIP event will feature early admission, first access to seats and the bar, private entertainment, and a meet and greet with The Old Queen’s Men. Doors open for VIPs at 6 p.m. A limited number of VIP tickets will be sold in advance for $20 per person.

Doors will open for general admission ticket holders at 7 p.m. with the show beginning at 8 p.m. General Admission tickets will be sold in advance for $10 per person and $15 on the day of the event. A limited quantity of prop bags will be available while supplies last with priority given to VIP and pre-sale ticketholders.

Tickets are available in advance online at cornerstonearts.org, at Cornerstone’s second floor desk from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, by calling 765-289-9687, or at After Dark’s Muncie and Anderson locations.

Proceeds from the event will support Cornerstone’s arts education programs and preservation of the historic building. Additional support for the Rocky Horror Picture Show comes from After Dark, 93-5 MAX Radio, 104.9 WERK, Scarevania Haunted House, and Freakhouse Flicks. Join the cast for an after party featuring additional performances at The Mark III Tap Room after the show.

Rocky Horror is just the beginning of an exciting fall at Cornerstone. October events and attractions include: Son of Scarevania Haunted House opening October 1 at Cornerstone, the free Cornerstone Community Halloween Party for families on October 27, and the adults only All Hallows’ Eve Bash on October 29.
