Muncie, IN—The public will be met with a ‘sea’ of red, white, and blue September 4 through 11 as more than one thousand American flags adorn Minnetrista’s lawn beside the White River Greenway.

Flags of Honor is presented by the Exchange Club of Muncie, in honor and memory of local veterans, current service personnel, fallen heroes, and all those who wish to display their pride for our country. With a gift of $30, friends, families, and organizations will receive a ribbon to place on a flag to display during the designated event dates.

Flags of Honor is an opportunity for the Exchange Club of Muncie and Minnetrista to further their missions of community engagement, through celebration of the many freedoms that have made our country prosperous.

The Exchange Club of Muncie has made this an annual event and opportunity for families and visitors to join together once a year at Minnetrista in a united show of patriotism.

Flags of Honor will be on display from September 4 through 11 at Minnetrista. An opening remembrance program will be held on September 4 at 3:30 p.m., with a closing program on September 11 at 3:30 p.m. Event proceeds benefit the charities supported by the Exchange Club of Muncie, focusing on child abuse and patriotism.

The Muncie Exchange Club is a service organization focused on promotion of patriotism, child abuse prevention, and community service. Flags of Honor is sponsored by the City of Muncie.
