Muncie, IN—In recent months the condition of the Muncie Fieldhouse has gained the attention of many media outlets. In response, several community members and patrons of the Muncie Community Schools have expressed a desire to contribute monetary donations to the Fieldhouse renovation project.
Thanks to the assistance of the Community Foundation, a pass-through account for Fieldhouse Renovations and Maintenance was recently established. Pass-through funds are established for specific community needs and over time the funds are expended when projects are completed. The generous support of the Community Foundation allows for much lower administrative fees than other online fundraising options such as GoFundMe.
With use of this agreement, the donation process will be simplified. Anyone interested in making a contribution may visit the Community Foundation’s website.
Since this is Homecoming Week at Muncie Central, we felt this would be the perfect opportunity to share this information with the community while we wait for our Bearcats to go 6-0 this Friday night!
