Muncie, IN—Calling all glass artists! If you have ever wanted to create beautiful glass beads, now is your chance. On Thursday, May 18 and Saturday, May 20, Minnetrista invites you to join our two open flame, glass bead making workshops.

“Come join the fun of creating torchwork glass beads,” said Educator Karen Nickel. “You will have a variety of glass colors and techniques to choose from. No experience necessary, all supplies provided.”

At Minnetrista, you can discover the joy behind creating unique glass beads along with your family and friends in an open flame class. Together, you’ll be guided step-by-step, and have access to a wide variety of glass colors and textures, tools, kilns, torches, and safety gear.

The first bead making workshop of 2017 will take place on Thursday, May 18 from 6–9 p.m. and has a registration deadline of May 15. The second will take place on Saturday, May 20 from 1–4 p.m. with a registration deadline of May 17.

Each workshop cost $55 and member discounts apply. All artwork made will be available for pick up the following week in The Orchard Shop.
