Muncie, — Put Yourself in Her Heels is the YWCA’s signature event designed to raise awareness and show support to the YWCA’s residential program.  For the event’s fifth anniversary, the community will join us on our mission and participate in a one-mile walk through downtown Muncie. Upon receiving the story of a woman, community members will walk for women who utilize the residential services at the YWCA. For the first time women and children can participate in the event, with no heel wearing required. Participation in the walk is free, with a t-shirt and a complimentary breakfast. To guarantee an event t-shirt, be sure to register by September 15.
