Ball State Offers FREE Shuttle For 4 Downtown Events

Muncie, IN—Ball State is offering FREE shuttle service for faculty, staff, and students to four FREE downtown events.

Thank you to our partner, Ball State University and the Office of Community Engagement for providing shuttle service to four downtown events and for promoting Downtown Muncie.

Voices (Re)United Concert

Thursday, September 13, 6:30 – 9 pm @ Walnut Street

United Way of Delaware County kicks off its 2018 campaign with a FREE downtown celebration and concert. No tickets required.

Shuttles: Leave from Sursa Hall at 6:30, 6:45, and 7pm

Return from corner of High St. and Charles St. at 8:30, 8:45, and 9 pm

 

Three Trails Music Series: Flor De Toloache

Thursday, September 20, 7 – 9:30 pm @ Canan Commons

Bring your blankets or chairs to this FREE outdoor concert featuring Latin Grammy winners Flore de Toloache

New York City’s first and only all-women Mariachi group. Their unique sound is an edgy, versatile, and fresh take on traditional Mexican music, with influences from salsa, gypsy music, Latin jazz, pop, and hip-hop. No tickets required.

Muncie’s Bridge Dinner

Thursday, September 27, 5:30 – 7:30 pm @ Washington Street Bridge

Community members gather on the historic Washington Street Bridge to eat, enjoy live music, and take in one- of-a-kind views of the bridge and White River. Local food and drink available for purchase, or bring your own! FREE event – no tickets required.

Shuttles:  Leave from Sursa Hall at 5:15 and 5:30pm

Return from Washington Street Bridge at 7:30 and 7:45 pm

 

ArtsWalk

Thursday, October 4, 5 – 9 pm, @ Downtown Muncie

One of the best nights to experience all that downtown Muncie has to offer! Art gallery shows, performances, art demonstrations, “Soup Crawl” benefiting Second Harvest Food Bank, and a Pumpkin Glow Trail.

FREE event – no tickets required.
