Muncie, Ind. – The Board of Directors of the Delaware County Fairgrounds & Exposition center announce the 4th annual Delaware County Cheerleading Contest during the 2019 Delaware County Fair. The contest will be held on Thursday, July 18th at 6:00 pm in the Grandstands at the fairgrounds. The competition is open to middle and high school teams and there is no entry fee to compete. Spectator admission to thecompetition is $5 per person.
Registration is open to any team from an accredited Indiana school. The categories are junior high, varsity, and reserve teams. The competition is judged by a panel of experienced judges. Cash prizes and trophies will be awarded to the top three teams in each category.
This competition is a great way to showcase local middle school and high school cheer teams, and to prepare for those teams that compete at the Indiana State Fair. This competition can be for experienced teams, or for those who are novice to cheer competitions.
The deadline to enter is July 10, 2019. Entry forms are available at delawarecountyfair.net or by emailing delawarecountycheer@gmail.com.
