Education Support Hub Launches Weekly Blog Featuring BSU’s Dr. David McIntosh

Muncie, IN — Students, parents, staff and members of the Muncie community can receive timely and essential COVID-19 information or request assistance thanks to a new website developed by the Ball State University Teachers College. The website now features a weekly blog by Dr. David McIntosh of Ball State University.

The Education Support Hub provides school policies and in-depth information about health, mental awareness, nutrition, remote learning and technology for each school, and current information related to COVID-19. It is a free service offering email subscriptions, social media feeds and forms to request assistance or suggest updates.

“The Education Support Hub has had over 1000 users to date and we believe that Dr. McIntosh’s blog post will attract even more users ultimately providing more access to the community we serve.” stated Jane Wiechel, Advisory Board member.

Dr. McIntosh’s weekly blog posts are insightful, heartfelt, and spirited. Dr. David McIntosh is the Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs and Strategic Initiatives and is the David and Joanna Meeks Distinguished Professor of Special Education and Professor of Educational Psychology. He publishes extensively in the area of psychological and educational assessment of children and adolescents with learning, emotional, and/or disruptive behavior disorders. He also publishes in the area of identification and treatment of autism spectrum disorder.
