MUNCIE, Ind.—TeenWorks, a local non-profit working to empower teens to achieve excellence in community, college, and career is now accepting applications for the 2022 Summer Jobs Program. The organization is looking to hire 100 teens who are interested in earning wages, developing their professional skill set, and working alongside friends!

This program will run June 15th through July 22nd and is a great opportunity for students to gain experience, acquire new skills, and build their resumes. Students hired by TeenWorks will have an opportunity to work at local non-profit organizations such as Inside Out, Second Harvest Food Bank, Prairie Creek Reservoir, and more.

Additionally, students attend weekly professional development sessions focused on financial literacy, interviewing skills, and professional communication – all while earning a paycheck. Other benefits to participating in the program include daily lunch and snacks, transportation from Muncie Central High School to the work site, and 5 uniform shirts.

Any Delaware County sophomore through senior in high school is eligible to apply online at www.teenworks.org/apply.

If you have any questions, please contact Regional Director, Kari Wissel, at kwissel@teenworks.org.
