Running a small business isn’t easy, and sometimes it helps to get input from others who have answers to overcome obstacles. The East Central Indiana Small Business Development Center (ISBDC) presents a “Small Business Fix-It” session from 12 to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, October 20 at the Downtown Business Connector (DBC). The DBC is located on the first floor level of The Lofts of Roberts, 420 S. High Street in Downtown Muncie.

Participants are encouraged to bring lunch for themselves and to submit a question in advance to tsteiner@isbdc.org. There’s no cost to attend the workshop, but providing a question ahead of time will ensure an optimal experience.

The East Central ISBDC continues to offer no-cost, confidential business consulting services from 12 to 4 p.m. on Tuesdays at the DBC. To make an appointment, contact Tom Steiner at (765) 282-9950.

Those interested in starting a business can plan now to attend the next “Launch Your Own Business” workshop from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, November 5. The cost to attend this workshop is $25 and includes a workbook to walk future business owners through a proven path to beginning a successful business.

Sign up for either event by visiting the “Workshops and Events” link at www.isbdc.org.

The East Central ISBDC provides no-cost, confidential small business consulting to 11 counties of East Central Indiana. Access these services by visiting www.isbdc.org or calling (765) 282-9950.
