Youth Opportunity Center Hires Chief Financial Officer

Muncie, IN—The Youth Opportunity Center recently hired Kimberly S. Burkholder, CPA as CFO for the Muncie, Indiana based youth treatment facility. Burkholder has 17 years of experience as a CPA for public accounting firms specializing in audits and financial statement preparation for nonprofit organizations and for-profit companies, consulting and tax return preparation for companies and individuals.

Kim received her Masters of Accountancy from Manchester College (University). Kim began her career at Katz, Sapper & Miller, LLP in Indianapolis and spent the last 11 years at Estep*Doctor & Company, P.C. in Muncie. Kim is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Indiana CPA Society.

In addition to her professional activities, Kim serves on the finance committee for the United Way of Delaware County, on the Board for Altrusa International of Muncie, IN, Inc., as the Treasurer of YBDL (Yorktown Development Basketball League) and she is also involved in coaching youth sports. Kim resides in Yorktown, with her husband, Jason, and their son.

Celebrating 25 years of serving kids, the YOC, in partnership with area agencies, offers a complementary range of services on its 75-acre campus including residential and outpatient counseling, on-grounds accredited school, CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates), juvenile court, day treatment program, and juvenile detention.
