Muncie, IN—The Community Foundation of Muncie and Delaware County, Inc. has announced the 2018 recipients of the Community Foundation Scholarship. The Community Foundation Scholarship is awarded to students who were selected by their individual schools as Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship nominees. The Community Foundation recognizes the outstanding achievements of these students with a $500 scholarship. Consideration was given to student activities and achievements, community and civic service, academic ability and potential for leadership.

Anna Beach of the Indiana Academy plans to study computer science and Spanish at The University of Pittsburgh. Anna is the daughter of Lynnette and Adam Beach.

Grace Belangee of Delta High School plans to study health sciences and pre-optometry at Butler University. Grace is the daughter of Brian and Ali Belangee.

Indira Brown of Yorktown High School plans to study mathematics at Purdue University. Indira is the daughter of Ryan and Rebecca Brown.

Skylar Cassity of Daleville Jr./Sr. High School plans to study neuroscience at Indiana University. Skylar is the son of Anisha Cassity and Jason Cassity.

Arianna Dollinger of Muncie Central High School plans to study pharmacy at Purdue University. Arianna is the daughter of Sabrina White and Brian Dollinger.

Lily Fillwalk of the Indiana Academy plans to study environmental analysis and visual arts at Pitzer College. Lily is the daughter of John Fillwalk and Eva Zygmunt.

Faith Flick of Heritage Hall plans to study pre-medicine at Ball State University. Faith is the daughter of Mark and Nichole Flick.

Lucas Henson of Wapahani High School plans to study philosophy at Indiana University. Lucas is the son of Kim and Tim Henson.

Alexander Herbst of Wapahani High School plans to study aerospace engineering at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. Alexander is the son of Steve and Kristen Herbst.

Bryn Marlow of Delta High School plans to study anthropology at Ball State University. Bryn is the daughter of Heidi and Chris Marlow.

Brock McCoy of Muncie Central High School plans to study industrial engineering at Worchester Polytechnic Institute. Brock is the son of Kenneth and Lynn McCoy.

Emma-Mae Newman of Burris Laboratory School plans to study law and public policy as well as international studies at Indiana University. Emma-Mae is the daughter of Anginette Dearing and Betty Hancock.

Javier Onate of Muncie Central High School plans to study biomedical engineering at Purdue University. Javier is the son of Aurelio and Juana Onate.

Cade Orchard of Delta High School plans to study astronomy and philosophy at Case Western Reserve University. Cade is the son of Paul and Jennifer Orchard.

Hannah Quirk of Cowan Jr./Sr. High School plans to study elementary education and special education at Ball State University. Hannah is the daughter of Scott and Michelle Quirk.

Michelle Scanameo of Yorktown High School plans to study management at Indiana University. Michelle is the daughter of Michael and Carol Scanameo.

Astra Sisson of Muncie Central High School plans to study political science and mathematics at Ball State University. Astra is the daughter of Deirdre Sisson and Antonio Sisson.

Korbin Zvokel of Wes-Del Middle/High School plans to study aerospace engineering at Purdue University. Korbin is the son of Ken Zvokel and Michelle Buckmaster-Zvokel.
