MSO Presents the Music of Film Composer John Williams On November 10th

Muncie, Indiana—What do a Wookiee, a shark, and a dinosaur have in common?  The Muncie Symphony Orchestra’s Movie Magic of John Williams!  Join the fun this Saturday, November 10 at 4:00 p.m. in Pruis Hall on the campus of Ball State University. The Muncie Symphony Orchestra (MSO) invites you and your family to experience a concert full of the magic of movie music by composer, John Williams, including music from Harry Potter, Jaws, Star Wars, Jurassic Park, E.T., Superman and more!

Tickets for Youth (K-12) are just $5; College students with student ID are $10; Adult Single Tickets are $30 in advance, $35 at the door. For tickets, contact the Emens Box Office at 765-285-1539 or visit MuncieSymphony.org.

“John Williams’ music is the soundtrack to many of our childhoods—movies that have captured our excitement, not only visually, but with his incredible music. This is a concert for movie lovers!” said MSO Artistic Director and Conductor, Douglas Droste.

Come before the concert for family activities that include anopportunity to meet members of Star Wars Indiana in their Star Wars costumes. Dress as your favorite John Williams movie character and enter the costume contest for a chance to win prizes. The MSO Instrument Petting Zoo, movie-themed crafts and face painting are also available before the concert and during intermission. Refreshments will be offered in the lobby of Pruis Hall after the conclusion of the concert.
