Community Foundation Announces 2020 Scholarship Recipients

Muncie, IN—Congratulations to the following graduates:

Christian Barton, a senior at Cowan Jr./Sr. High School, is the recipient of the Owen H. Ramey Memorial Scholarship. Barton plans to attend Ball State University to study secondary education. He is the son of Shane Barton and Holly Barton.

 Noah Collins, a senior at Cowan Jr./Sr. High School, is the recipient of the Nicholas Brooks Sherfy Memorial Scholarship. Collins plans to attend Earlham College to study sports management. He is the son of Dave and Kristina Collins.

 Autumn Gable, a senior at Burris Laboratory School, is the recipient the Burris Class of 1949 Angie Wilson Scholarship. Gable plans to attend Franklin College, where she will study elementary education. She is the daughter of Wendy Gable and Scott Gable,

 Kathleen Hunter, a senior at Muncie Central High School, is the recipient of the Jerry Parrish Scholarship. Hunter plans to attend Saint Mary’s College to study finance or environmental biology. She is the daughter of Ana Quirk Hunter and Joe Hunter.

Lily Jones, a senior at Daleville High School, is a recipient of the Michele Barnhart Hires Scholarship. Jones plans to attend Ball State University to study journalism. She is the daughter of David and Jamie Jones.

Macy Serf, a senior at Muncie Central High School, is the recipient of the Ollie Mae Hammond Scholarship. Serf plans to attend Ivy Tech Community College to study elementary education. She is the daughter of Jonathan and Faith Serf.

David Shellabarger, a senior at Daleville High School, is a recipient of the Michele Barnhart Hires Scholarship. Shellabarger plans to attend Ball State University to study construction management. He is the son of Jay and Joan Shellabarger.

Erza Wright, a senior at Cowan Jr./Sr. High School, is the recipient of the Dr. Albert O. Miller III Scholarship. Wright plans to attend Johnson University to study marketing. He is the son of Drew and Stacie Wright.
