The Muncie Technology and Engineering Network (MTEN), a regional collaboration between Madjax in Muncie and Purdue Polytechnic in Anderson, recently launched the inaugural year of the “Educator Maker in Residence” programs. This year-long teacher fellowship program partners professional educators with a student apprentice and workforce partner to create meaningful and relevant learning opportunities for students and families. Led by the Future of Work initiative at Madjax, the educator teams collaborate to help participants strengthen “maker” skills including strategic thinking, innovation, creativity and design.

Funding for these programs has been provided by the U.S. Economic Development Administration, the Ball Brothers Foundation, and the City of Muncie ARP. Use the code MEDIA5OFF to save $5 on registration to any program (one $5 off registration per family). For more information and to register visit www.madjax.org/mten.
