MUNCIE,INCornerstone Center for the Arts, 520 E. Washington in  Muncie, has opened registration for its fall semester. Cornerstone is offering a wide selection of classes from dance, painting, and ceramics to photography and yoga. There is something for students of all ages.

Students can register on line at cornerstonearts.org. Registration will be open through the first week of classes, which begin on Aug. 22. Class catalogues are available online, and at Cornerstone.

Cornerstone is proud to offer a wide array of affordable classes designed to encourage students’ inner artist.

Summer Festival

Cornerstone Center for the Arts, 520 E. Washington in Muncie, will present its Summer Festival showcasing the works of students and their teachers during the summer months from 2-5 p.m., on Sunday, July 31.

On display will be a showcase of all the classes – ceramics, watercolor, youth art, comic and manga. In addition there were will be demonstrations from the belly dance and Irish Celtic Thunder students.

The presentations are free and open to the public.

 

Cornerstone Center for the Arts offers opportunities for creative expression for all through community and rental spaces in a historic setting.  Thousands of area residents attend events, wedding and civic events, in addition to taking classes in art, dance and music.
