Madjax Invites Applications for 2024 ‘Makers in Residence’ Fellowship

MUNCIE, IN —Madjax Maker Force is excited to announce the opening of applications for the 2024 Maker in Residence fellowship cohort. This unique initiative provides a dedicated opportunity for makers, artists, entrepreneurs, and educators to explore and nurture their creative pursuits in a collaborative and inspiring environment.

Professional and hobbyist makers are invited to apply for the year-long fellowship that includes training, networking, leading workshops, and a membership to the Madjax Design Lab. The theme for 2024 is “Inspiring Intersecting Ideas.” Applicants are encouraged to explore ways to share their current expertise through the development of new and innovative interactive workshops, as well as expand their existing skill sets through interdisciplinary exploration.

“The key to our success will always be the incredibly talented people who are working together to bring their ideas tolife,” shared Kyra Zylstra, director of initiatives at Madjax. “We are thrilled to continue expanding our community ofmakers with this new cohort of Makers in Residence.”

Maker in Residence applications are due by October 15. Benefits include a stipend, supply allowance, access to training and member-only events, and a membership to the Madjax Design Lab. Details and application are available at madjax.org/fellowships.
