Nonprofit Support Network Announces Inaugural Nonprofit Summit and Community Luncheon

MUNCIE, IN – Nonprofit Support Network is thrilled to announce that tickets are now available for its inaugural Nonprofit Summit presented by Northwest Bank. The summit is scheduled for Wednesday, October 25, from 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Horizon Convention Center. This groundbreaking event aims to raise awareness about the Nonprofit Support Network’s invaluable work while providing access to education and professional development opportunities within the local community.

The Nonprofit Summit offers a day filled with enriching sessions, informative discussions, and valuable connections. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in breakout sessions led by local, regional, and national speakers, as well as two inspiring keynote addresses from Suzanne Smith, CEO and founder of Social Impact Architects. Tickets for the Nonprofit Summit are priced at $55 per person. Scholarships are available for nonprofits located in Muncie-Delaware County by emailing nonprofitsummit@muncienonprofits.org. At the conclusion of the Nonprofit Summit is the community-focused Nonprofit Pulse Luncheon from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., sponsored by Heart of Indiana United Way. The lunch will highlight Nonprofit Support Network’s mission through an inspiring keynote from Suzanne about nonprofit megatrends. This luncheon brings together nonprofit organizations, community and business leaders, volunteers, and passionate individuals to harness the pulse of positive change collectively. Tickets to the Nonprofit Pulse Luncheon are included in admission to the Nonprofit Summit or can be purchased separately for $40.

Suzanne Smith is renowned for her success in building and implementing award-winning programs and initiatives within the social sector. She has been featured in prominent media outlets and is a prolific writer on topics related to the nonprofit sector.

Local nonprofit professionals Jena Ashby, 8Twelve Coalition, and Brad Edmondson, IU Health Foundation, will lead breakout sessions on collective impact and annual fundraising, respectively. Tanorria Askew, a black woman business owner, personal chef, and racial injustice change-maker based in Indianapolis, will present an introduction to diversity, equity, inclusion, and anti-racism. Josh Brammer, Marketing Advisor at Indianapolis-based Lantern, will lead an engaging session about storytelling and brand strategy.
