Delaware County Native Gains Experience Interning at Statehouse

STATEHOUSE —Delaware County native Natalie Moulton is gaining experience as an intern with State Rep. Elizabeth Rowray (R-Yorktown) and her fellow members of the Indiana House of Representatives during the 2024 legislative session.Moulton, a Yorktown High School graduate, is the daughter of Ben and Amy Moulton. She is currently a junior at Ball State University, majoring in communication with minors in political science and social work.“Thanks to this internship, I’ve been able to learn so much about state government and make great connections with legislators and staff,” Moulton said. “This firsthand experience has brought me so many opportunities and helped me learn skills that will help me after graduation.” As a legislative intern, Moulton corresponds with constituents through phone calls, letters and emails while also staffing committee hearings and floor proceedings.“Natalie’s dedication to her responsibilities as an intern has been outstanding,” Rowray said. “Her eagerness to learn and work hard is evident each day, and I’m so glad to have had the opportunity to work with a fellow Ball State Cardinal at the Statehouse this session.” At the start of each year, the House of Representatives offers paid internship opportunities to college students, law school students, graduate students and recent college graduates for the duration of the legislative session.Visit IndianaHouseRepublicans.com/internship for more information about the House Republican internship program.
