MUNCIE, IN—Munich to Muncie Oktoberfest returns for its fifth year on September 26, 2025, at The Yard, 723 S. Council St., Muncie. The annual celebration of German food, craft beverages, music, contests, and community spirit is one of ecoREHAB of Muncie’s largest fundraisers.
EcoREHAB is a nonprofit organization that emerged in 2009 from a Ball State University architecture studio with a mission to transform abandoned houses into sustainable homes. Over the years, ecoREHAB has worked with students and community partners to rehabilitate deteriorating structures and create inviting, affordable homes for Muncie residents.
Oktoberfest is a 21-and-over event from 5 to 8 p.m., with early admission at 4 p.m. for VIP ticket holders. General admission tickets are $30, VIP tickets are $40, and tickets for non-alcoholic samples are $20. Group rates are also available.
Guests can enjoy unlimited pours from a variety of craft breweries, distilleries, and wineries from throughout Indiana, including 3 Floyds, Northern Tropics, Perry Vine, and Hi & Mighty Distillery. Non-alcoholic beverages will also be available.
A variety of food vendors will be on hand, including Neighborhood Pizza, Spudz Dude, and Danielle’s Popcorn. The East Central Neighborhood Association will serve German fare, including German potato salad and soft pretzels. Vegan and gluten-free options will also be available.
The festival will feature a variety of contests, including keg toss, stein holding, best costume, and bratwurst eating. The popular trophies are always a crowd favorite. The silent auction will be bigger than ever this year, with numerous items available for bidding.
Live music will be provided by Huckleberry Haze and Midwest Brass, both returning with their popular performances. Oktoberfest will also be featuring music by Boys in the Attic, a band comprised of all high school students. Numerous arts and crafts vendors will also offer unique and handmade goods.
The VIP experience includes early entry, special food and beverages in the VIP lounge, a pretzel necklace, and a VIP souvenir. Kdøg and Justin Browning will provide entertainment in the VIP area.
Organizers have worked to create a fun, welcoming, and safe event for the community.
