MUNCIE, INThe Family Life Institute of Indiana, LLC (FLII), a newly established Muncie-based organization, has officially launched with a mission to strengthen families, improve relational health, and support community well-being through education, prevention, and systems-informed services.

Founded by John Anderson EdD, an educator and family-life professional with extensive experience in higher education leadership, community engagement, and adult learning, the Institute is designed to serve families, professionals, and organizations seeking proactive, evidence-informed approaches to family stability and resilience.

“The Family Life Institute of Indiana was created to help families access the tools, knowledge, and support they need before challenges escalate into crisis,” said Anderson. “Our work sits at the intersection of education, prevention, and systems navigation—helping families, professionals, and institutions work more effectively together.”

The Institute’s initial scope includes family life education, professional development, community-based programming, and collaborative partnerships with schools, nonprofits, faith-based organizations, and public systems. FLII also plans to expand its services to include mediation-informed supports and court-adjacent educational offerings, further strengthening its role as a bridge between families and systems.

Headquartered in Muncie, Indiana, the Family Life Institute of Indiana is committed to serving both urban and rural communities, with a particular focus on accessibility, prevention, and long-term family well-being.

More information about the Family Life Institute of Indiana and its upcoming initiatives will be released in the coming months.
