MUNCIE, IN— Shafer Leadership Academy announced plans to expand its facilitation team in response to increasing demand for customized leadership development programs across East Central Indiana and surrounding regions.
The nonprofit organization has seen growing interest from employers in manufacturing, healthcare, and financial services who are seeking leadership development that reflects the realities of their workforce and industry. As organizations navigate workforce transitions, talent retention challenges, and the need for inclusive leadership practices, Shafer Leadership Academy is investing in additional facilitation capacity to meet those needs.
“Our partners are asking for leadership development that is relevant to their people and their environment, not one-size-fits-all programming,” said Tisha Gierhart, Chief Facilitation Officer at Shafer Leadership Academy. “Expanding our facilitation team allows us to deliver more customized experiences while maintaining the depth, quality, and intentionality our participants expect.”
The new Facilitator role will support the delivery of leadership programs in a variety of professional settings, working alongside experienced facilitators and contributing to program design, evaluation, and continuous improvement. The position reflects the Academy’s emphasis on hands-on facilitation, measurable outcomes, and long-term leadership growth for individuals and organizations.
Shafer Leadership Academy has built a reputation for tailoring leadership development to specific organizational contexts, particularly within manufacturing environments, healthcare systems, and financial institutions where leadership challenges are often complex and highly regulated.
