Muncie, IN—Normandy Flower Shop, Inc. has been a mainstay of downtown Muncie since the late 1930’s.
Nick and Meta Mentis were the owners of the shop until 1982, and always offered fresh flowers, plants and gifts for many occasions. They served Delaware County well for many years.
The current owner, Judy Davis Benken, who bought the shop from the Mentis’, is a third generation florist, having grown up in Muncie at Paul’s Flower Shop (Paul was her Dad.)
She loves being downtown in the thick of things and resides above the shop.
Two of her children now work at the shop, continuing the tradition, and now make up the fourth generation of florists.
Everyone at Normandy prides themselves with their floral knowledge and their ability to provide fresh flowers, plants and products of the best quality to their customers.
Benken said, “We provide great service, the freshest flowers, a beautiful selection of plants, Yankee Candles, angels, quality plush animals, afghans, wind chimes, mugs, balloons, stepping stones, greeting cards, and the nicest, friendliest staff in town. We are a full service flower shop, open six days a week, and deliver across the county. We can assist you with flowers for any occasion, joyous or sorrowful,—we are here to help you make someone feel special with flowers. We sum it up with “hard work, long hours, great gifts, and fresh flowers!”
