Muncie, IN—TechWise Academy is announcing its Spring 2021 computer science classes with a focus on robotics and coding for K-12 students. Classes are held in the Coding Connector at the Innovation Connector building on White River Boulevard.

The computer science curriculum gives students the tools to find ways to problem solve and explore curiosity and creativity. Students are encouraged to embrace mistakes to learn quickly and grow in confidence in classes. Instructors facilitate an environment where students can take risks and enjoy the learning process.

“Our classes are designed to challenge students while giving them foundational problem solving skills—all while having fun. We’ve added some new classes this semester and have really tried to give opportunities each month for every grade level.” says Ryan Hunter, co-founder of TechWise Academy.

Computer science is a powerful medium in which students can express themselves by solving challenges in unique ways to enhance their creativity and problem solving. Students will solve problems like a programmer with the computational thinking method: decomposition, patterns, abstraction, and algorithms.

The Coding Connector, located at the Innovation Connector, combines a state-of-the-art facility with fiber based internet access, computer resources, an active marketing and business center and the absolute best coding instructors and facilities in our community.

“The Innovation Connector is pleased to continue our relationship with TechWise Academy to offer a wide variety of STEM related courses for students K-12. These courses, offered for minimal charges or through scholarships, prepare students their futures in the ever expanding technology-based world,” said Ted Baker, CEO/Executive Director of the Innovation Connector. “The Coding Connector is the place in the Muncie community to not only learn tech-related skills, but to have a lot of fun doing it. The Innovation Connector is grateful for our funding partners who make programs like this possible.”
