MUNCIE, IN —Nonprofit Support Network is accepting proposals for break-out sessions for its first-ever Nonprofit Summit on Wednesday, October 25, from 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 pm at Horizon Convention Center. The summit will highlight the impact of collaboration through educational sessions, interactive discussions, and networking opportunities for nonprofit professionals across the sector.

“Our region is home to an incredible nonprofit sector, filled with dedicated professionals who work tirelessly to make a difference,” shared Carly Acree King, Relationship and Resource Director of Nonprofit Support Network. “They deserve access to educational opportunities and professional development that will further enhance their skills and knowledge. This summit provides a platform for learning, networking, and growth.”

The Nonprofit Summit will have between four and six 75-minute break-out sessions. If you are a passionate storyteller, practical advice-giver, innovative thinker, or experienced leader, Nonprofit Support Network wants you to inspire others through engaging break-out sessions. Proposals are encouraged by local nonprofit workers to share with peers about successes, challenges, and opportunities but will be accepted from a broad audience of interested presenters.

Those interested in leading a break-out session should complete a proposal form on Nonprofit Support Network’s website at muncienonprofits.org/nonprofitsummit-2023 before July 31, 2023. Nonprofit Support Network’s Steering Committee will screen proposals for final selection. Sessions will be selected to ensure topics are covered. Presenters will receive complimentary registration and a $100 stipend. Notifications will be made the week of August 14.

Sponsorship opportunities are available for the Nonprofit Summit, and it is an opportunity for local businesses and organizations to showcase their commitment to our community, support the nonprofit sector, and gain valuable exposure. With various support levels available, sponsors can choose the option that aligns best with their organization’s goals and desired level of involvement.

Sponsorship benefits include prominent recognition throughout the summit, brand visibility in marketing materials, exclusive networking opportunities, and the chance to connect with influential nonprofit professionals and thought leaders. Interested partners should contact Carly Acree King at carly@muncienonprofits.org or 765-203-1670.

More details about registration and keynote speakers will be available later in July. To learn more about Nonprofit Support Network or the Nonprofit Summit, visit muncienonprofits.org or email Carly Acree King, Relationship and Resource Director, at carly@muncienonprofits.org.
