MUNCIE, IN—Cornerstone Center for the Arts has set an ambitious goal to raise $10,000 by December 10, 2023, but we need your help. Any donation you make before December 10 will be matched by a silent donor up to $10,000. This means you can double the impact of your contribution and help us reach our goal by making a donation today.
Cornerstone’s mission is to engage and enrich our community by providing opportunities for creative expression, educational programs, and events in a historic setting. Fulfilling this mission has become increasingly difficult for us. Despite long-time support from partners and patrons across the city, the cost to maintain our grand 1926 Masonic Temple building too often exceeds revenue. This autumn, the board of directors made the difficult decision to pause programming. During this necessary break, we focused on fundraising, building partnerships with local foundations, and ensuring that we had a sound business model moving forward. This year has brought CCA many challenges, but we’re excited to share with you the exciting programs coming early next year.
Classes Resume in 2024
With great support from both the community and local foundations, we are excited to announce that classes will return in January. Check out the 2024 winter semester schedule on our website. Be sure to register today before they fill up. As a friend of CCA, you can also help by sharing our winter arts programming options with friends and family. Many thanks to our talented instructors who worked to ensure a great set of classes going forward. We appreciate our students and patrons for their patience and we’re excited to see you again in January.
