MUNCIE, IN. — Destination: Muncie is proud to announce Aurilia Moulton as the newest Delaware County Ambassador through Ball State University’s County Ambassador Program.

Moulton will join returning ambassador Adam Schuler in representing Delaware County on campus while helping connect Ball State students with the many opportunities, events, and experiences available throughout the community.

At the same time, Destination: Muncie extends its sincere appreciation to outgoing ambassador Samuel Brumley, who graduates from Ball State University in June, after serving in the role for the past year and a half.

The County Ambassador Program, coordinated through Ball State University’s Office of Governmental Relations and Industry Engagement, gives students the opportunity to promote their home county to fellow students through peer engagement, campus involvement, and community outreach. Ambassadors help showcase the value of living, working, and exploring in Delaware County while encouraging students to venture beyond campus and experience all the area has to offer.

“We are incredibly grateful to Sam for the enthusiasm, professionalism, and pride he brought to this role,” said Lena Reid, Communications Manager for Destination: Muncie. “Sam represented Delaware County with excellence and built meaningful connections between students and our community. We wish him all the best as he begins this next chapter after graduation.”

“It has been a privilege to serve as a Delaware County Ambassador for the past year and a half,” said Brumley. “Working with the Office of Governmental Relations and Industry Engagement at Ball State and Destination: Muncie has provided meaningful connections and unforgettable experiences. I’ve had the opportunity to meet industry leaders, attend networking events, conferences, and community receptions, and share my passion for Delaware County with both peers and local residents.”

Brumley added that one of the greatest benefits of the program was helping bridge the gap between students and the local community, deepening his appreciation for the people, businesses, and opportunities that make Delaware County unique.

Stepping into the role, Aurilia Moulton brings strong community roots and a passion for helping others discover all that Delaware County has to offer. A Yorktown High School graduate, Moulton is currently studying Elementary Education at Ball State University.

“Being born and raised in the Delaware County area, I am incredibly thankful for the community and resources my hometown has provided,” said Moulton. “From performing in local theatre productions, attending Ball State, and working with students at Cole Academy, I feel this area has given me everything I need to be successful in the future. I’m thrilled for the opportunity to share with fellow students all that Muncie has to offer and its exceptional community.”

Returning ambassador Adam Schuler will continue serving alongside Moulton for the coming year. Schuler, a Muncie Central High School graduate and Ball State student, has been an active advocate for community involvement and student engagement.

“Serving as a Delaware County Ambassador has been a very helpful way for me to get more involved and keep my fellow students informed on what’s happening in the Muncie area,” said Schuler. “I’m really excited to welcome Aurilia to the team. She has the same regional pride that Sam and I do and is passionate about community engagement.”

Together, Schuler and Moulton will help promote local events, attractions, volunteer opportunities, and quality-of-life experiences that make Delaware County a welcoming place for students to live, learn, and stay connected to the community.
