MUNCIE, IN— MadJax Maker Force will host MadJax Small Business Week from May 4–9, 2026, a week of free, hands-on programming designed to help makers, creatives, and entrepreneurs build sustainable businesses.
Held in alignment with National Small Business Week and sponsored by PrimeTrust Federal Credit Union, the initiative brings together local experts and partners to lead sessions focused on the real work behind running and growing a business.
“This week is a direct response to what our members have been asking for – more access to real, practical business support,” said Carly Acree-King, Executive Director at MadJax Maker Force. “We’re also using this as a way to bring partners together and better connect the resources that help creative entrepreneurs build sustainable businesses.”
MadJax Small Business Week focuses on key areas that often determine long-term success:
- Monday, May 4 | 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.: Lunch & Learn: Business Planning, presented by the Indiana Small Business Development Center.
- Tuesday, May 5 | 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.: Bookkeeping Essentials presented by Penny Tracker, LLC
- Wednesday, May 6 | 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.: Lunch & Learn: Capital & Community — The Credit Union Advantage for Local Businesses presented by PrimeTrust Federal Credit Union
- Thursday, May 7 | 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.: Lunch & Learn: Smart Pricing for Small Business presented by Innovation Connector and Greater Muncie Chamber of Commerce
- Friday, May 8 | 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.: Lunch & Learn: Money Mindset for Business Owners presented by Cheyenne Reed, Abundance Alchemy

All sessions will take place in the Learning Lab on the first floor of MadJax. Lunch will be provided daily.
By creating space for learning, connection, and practical application, the program helps participants build confidence, make informed decisions, and access resources within the broader entrepreneurial ecosystem across Muncie and East Central Indiana.
