MUNCIE, IN—The City of Muncie will celebrate America’s Independence Day with a number of spectacular fireworks performances.
The official City of Muncie show will be aired by 104.1 HD1 WLBC and 104.9 WERK FM, with accompanying music, and will take place on the grounds of Muncie Central High School by the levee. The show will kick off at 10 p.m. on Friday, July 4th.
There will be a mix of patriotic favorites with today’s family friendly music during the fireworks.
The second show will be displayed at Prairie Creek Reservoir on Saturday, July 5th, at 10 p.m. You may listen to the music accompanying the reservoir fireworks on 104.1 HD1 WLBC. From 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. prior to the fireworks, the musical duo Cook and Belle will perform.
Saturday is also Ron Bonham day at Prairie Creek.
The town of Yorktown will have fireworks displayed at Morrows Meadow on July 4th at dusk.
Finally, America’s Hometown Band of Muncie will perform an evening of rousing patriotic music favorites, from 7-9 p.m. on July 4th. That performance will be on the grounds of Minnetrista Museum & Gardens, located at 1200 N Minnetrista Parkway in Muncie,
