MUNCIE, IN – An air of mystery will fill the halls of Muncie Civic Theatre on Saturday, October 18 when the theatre hosts its second annual Civic Soirée: Symbols & Secrets. Inspired by the intrigue of The Da Vinci Code, this immersive evening invites guests to trade a typical fundraiser for an elegant night of adventure.
Attendees will be swept into a museum-like setting complete with hidden clues and codes woven throughout the theatre. Between the chase for secrets, guests can enjoy cocktails, small bites, and even late-night dancing on the Civic stage while supporting Muncie Civic Theatre’s mission to bring the arts to life for the community.
As a special prelude to the soirée, guests are encouraged to begin the night with dinner at Vera Mae’s Bistro, where a portion of proceeds will benefit Muncie Civic Theatre.
Tickets are on sale now for just $65 through September 18. After that date, prices increase to $100, so guests are encouraged to secure their spots early. A special discount package is available—buy five tickets and get the sixth free. Guests must be 21 or older to attend.

Black-tie formal attire is encouraged, and tuxedo rentals are available by emailing the Civic Costume Shop, which has an extensive inventory of men’s formal wear for less than market pricing at costumes@munciecivic.org.
