MUNCIE, IN—Munich to Muncie Oktoberfest, benefiting ecoREHAB, returns for its fourth year on September 27, 2025 at The Yard, 723 S. Council St., Muncie. EcoREHAB of Muncie is a non-profit that emerged in 2009 from a Ball State University architecture studio designed to transform abandoned houses into sustainable homes. In ecoREHAB’s years of service, it has worked alongside students and community partners to rehabilitate many deteriorating structures into inviting, affordable homes for our community. This event is one of ecoREHAB’s biggest fundraisers.

Oktoberfest is a 21+ event that runs from 5 PM until 8 PM, with early 4 PM access for VIP ticketholders. Tickets are $35 for general admission, $45 for VIP, and $10 for designated drivers. There are also group rates available.

Enjoy unlimited pours from a variety of craft breweries, distilleries, and wineries from all over the state, including Bad Dad Brewing, Northern Tropics, Cultured Urban Winery, Hi & Mighty Distillery, and Moon Drops Distillery. Non-alcoholic beverages will also be available. Numerous food options will be on hand, including Neighborhood Pizza and Yard Bird BBQ (vegan and gluten-free options will be provided). The East Central Neighborhood Association will be making German fare for sale, including German potato salad and soft pretzels.

There will be several fun contests to compete in, including keg toss, stein holding, best costumes, and bratwurst eating. The trophies are always a crowd favorite. The silent auction will be even bigger this year and will include numerous fantastic items to bid on. Huckleberry Haze and Midwest Brass will back with their popular live music. Numerous arts and crafts vendors will be selling their fun and unique goods.

The VIP experience includes early entry, special food and beverages in the VIP lounge, a pretzel necklace to snack on, and a VIP souvenir. Bella Pike will be providing entertainment in the VIP area.

The Oktoberfest organizers have worked hard to make this an enjoyable, safe event for the community to enjoy. Festival chair Kim Miller said, “Munich to Muncie Oktoberfest is a unique opportunity to enjoy beverages from around the state and to benefit an organization that is doing such important work with regard to housing and youth education in our community. Every year Oktoberfest is one of the most fun and exciting festivals, all for a great cause.”
