MUNCIE, IN — The newly founded White River Chapter of Quail Forever is inviting hunters, nature lovers, and anyone who cares about wildlife to its first-ever public event.

Birds & Brews Pint Night will take place on Thursday, April 23, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Guardian Brewing Company in Muncie. Admission is free and open to everyone.

“This event is for anyone who loves the outdoors — from bird hunters to people who just enjoy seeing wildlife in their backyards,” said Chris Daniel, President of the White River Chapter of Quail Forever. “Come out, meet your neighbors, and help us make a difference for Indiana’s upland birds and the habitats they depend on.”

The evening is designed to celebrate the outdoors, grow a community of conservation-minded individuals, and raise funds that will go directly toward improving wildlife habitat in Delaware, Henry, Randolph, and Wayne counties. Whether you’re a lifelong bird hunter, a wildlife enthusiast, or simply someone who wants to do right by Indiana’s natural landscapes, this event is for you.

Attendees who purchase a Quail Forever membership at a cost of $45 at the event will receive a free pint of beer from Guardian Brewing and a free raffle ticket.

Memberships support Quail Forever’s national mission of conserving quail, pheasants, and other upland wildlife through habitat restoration, public access, education, and conservation advocacy.

Raffle tickets will be available for purchase throughout the evening, with prizes that include:

  • A shotgun
  • Handcrafted Damascus knives and other custom knives with sheaths by D. Becker Knives
  • Ammunition (12-gauge and 16-gauge)
  • A Quail Forever flag

People who plan on attending are encouraged to register in advance at quailforever.org/events, although registration is not required and walk-ins are welcome.
