Students registered for the program normally receive one bag of food every Friday to last the weekend. Muncie, IN—Local teachers will receive $6,564.48 in Robert P. Bell Education Grants from The Community Foundation of Muncie and Delaware County, Inc. More than 1,000 students will benefit in this first grant cycle of the academic year. Awards of up to $450 are available through the Bell Grants program. Funded projects are creative or innovative ideas or programs designed to stimulate learning in students. Delaware County teachers may apply throughout the year over four grant cycles. Muncie, IN—Muncie’s Sports Station WXFN 102.9 FM and 1340 AM broadcast its High School Sectional Preview Show at Mancino’s Pizza & Grinders Wednesday evening. Coaches and players from Muncie Central, Yorktown and Delta were interviewed live during the one hour show. INDIANAPOLIS – Ivy Tech Community College won 30 awards at the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations Professionals’ (NCMPR) regional conference in Ann Arbor, Michigan, October 17-19. Ivy Tech Community College was awarded with 14 gold medals, 6 silver medals, and 10 bronze medals for various marketing projects and initiatives at the NCMPR awards for the 2015-16 academic year.
