Hundreds of Reds fans were anxiously waiting to hear about the upcoming season, meet players and get signatures on their personal items. Farris had two sculptures selected by the jurors for the 2016 “92 County Art Show” on display at the Honeywell Center’s Clark Gallery in downtown Wabash, Indiana. Farris’s works in the show include “Fork in the Road” and “Heart-Stone.” “Fork in the Road” is a whimsical sculpture that features a dinner fork sticking into a preserved chunk of asphalt from Redkey, Indiana. “Heart-Stone” is a symmetrical heart hand-carved from a block of stone using a variety of tools. By: Ball State University Division of Strategic Communications— From an economic and pop culture standpoint, “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” may be the biggest movie event in this or any other galaxy, says Alex Kartman, a Ball State telecommunications instructor. Nearly 50,000 tickets have already been sold for the Dec. 18 premiere, which will be shown in about 4,100 theaters across the nation. Demand for tickets on Oct. 19 crashed every major online ticket agency from Fandango to IMAX to AMC Theaters.
