Twenty-seven (27) Muncie Central High School students have been selected to participate in the CHICK-FIL-A LEADERSHIP
ACADEMY. The leadership academy is a nationally recognized high school program focused on impact through action. Students will learn leadership skills and then put them into action at the end of the program in the form of an “Impact Project”. The leadership academy allows students to take complete ownership over all aspects of their Impact Projects and then involve other students in their school to impact thousands of people in the community around them. The selected students will participate in monthly Leader Labs using an unique Curriculum Technology with a faculty leader to gain insight.

The students accepted into the program this year are: Kyla Horst, Tara Horst, Autumn Reece, Jammie Watson, Sara Anderson, McKenna McNabb, Brooke Jackson, Brittney Rheaume, Antonio Murphy, Abigail Jones, Zaria William, Kenyana West, Tazmyn Pegues, Chaney Youngblood, Julia Ballard, Rachel Replogle, Jenna Whittenburg, Yolanda Johnson, Zach Abrell, Brielle Fowlkes, Cory Cooper, Allana Campbell, Breana Webster, Jeysineric Sterling, Samuel Baule, Margaret Connolly, and Olivia Philips.

The Muncie Community Schools (MCS) serve approximately 6000 students from Muncie and the surrounding area. MCS provides a range of diverse opportunities for children as well as adult basic education.
