MUNCIE, Ind.—Join Madjax as we celebrate World Art Day 2022 featuring Nash Hammond music and our talented artists and makers on April 15, 2022 from  4-8pm.

World ART Day is an international celebration of the fine arts which was declared by the International Association of Art in order to promote awareness of creative activity worldwide. It is celebrated on April 15th, the birthday of Leonardo da Vinci.

Celebrate Leanardo knowing that art generates a love for learning and creativity. Art strengthens focus, improves hand-eye coordination, and helps teach problem-solving. It also supports emotional intelligence and helps people express complex feelings. Art reaches across racial stereotypes and religious barriers and helps to build communities. It builds self-esteem, increases motivation, and improves holistic health.

Art awakens the senses and helps people experience the world in new ways.“The aim of art is to represent not the outward appearance of things, but their inward significance” – Aristotle

Our gifted and talented  makers & artists will have beautifully created artwork and merchandise  for all to enjoy. We will have several hands on/DIY projects throughout the building. We will also be celebrating EARTH DAY with a very special repurpose activity for youth and elders using discarded vinyl banners.

Be sure to head to The Guardian Brewery for one of their  delicious artisan pizzas and sip some great local beer and wine.

Support your community maker hub and local brewery.
