MUNCIE, IN — A beloved autumn tradition returns to downtown Muncie with a fresh opportunity to taste local flavors and support a vital cause. Tickets are officially on sale for the 14th Annual Soup Crawl, scheduled for Thursday, October 1, 2026, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Hosted by Second Harvest Food Bank and PrimeTrust Credit Union, this year’s event pairs community spirit with the shared mission of combating childhood hunger and supporting families facing food insecurity across East Central Indiana.
Building on a Historic Milestone
Following last year’s historic milestone—where the community rallied to cross an incredible $200,000 cumulative fundraising total for the event’s history—the Soup Crawl enters its 14th year with building momentum. Having successfully unlocked the equivalent of 800,000 meals to date, this year’s event aims to push that impact even further, delivering critical resources to local families and continuing the fight against regional food insecurity.
Local Flavor Meets Local Art
Set against the vibrant backdrop of Muncie’s Arts Walk, the 2026 Soup Crawl will showcase a diverse lineup of signature soups crafted by the area’s finest chefs and restaurants. Attendees can sample the offerings and cast a vote for their favorite creation.
Feeding Hope for Tomorrow
Every dollar raised directly benefits Second Harvest’s The Big Idea initiative. This program works to break generational poverty by bridging the gap between schools, families, and local resource providers—ultimately creating a stable foundation for children to thrive.
