Photo Gallery: Moonlight Movies, “Star Wars-The Force Awakens”

By: Mike Rhodes and Cheryl Crowder— The final installment of free Moonlight Movies, featuring Star Wars—The Force Awakens was held at Canan Commons on Saturday night. Thanks to the Ball State IDIA program, guests were able to experience Star Wars in a whole new way! Using agumented reality, similar to Pokemon Go!, attendees were able to download an app to their smartphones to enable a multi-dimensional experience. Sight and Sound provided a stunning display of light and sound before and during the film. BSU Trustees Name New Athletic Facility After Famed Coach Don Shondell

By: BSU News – MUNCIE, Ind. – The Ball State University Board of Trustees today approved the naming of the Dr. Don Shondell Practice Center, to be built adjacent to Worthen Arena. Funded via the Ball State University Cardinal Commitment campaign, which raised $20.6 million, the $6.4 million facility will provide practice space for the women’s and men’s basketball and volleyball programs. The facility will also house a training room, study room and individual team meeting rooms. By: Cheryl Crowder— Ball State University’s IDIA Lab has designed a special interactive 3D theater experience for Muncie Downtown Development’s screening of Star Wars: The Force Awakens on September 10, 2016. The movie will be held at Canan Commons. An immersive multimedia show will precede the screening – with lasers, video, music and special effects.
