Tiny Adams Christmas Eve Event at Fire Station #1

The Muncie Fire Department and Muncie Fire Fighters Local 1348 will be hosting the Annual Tiny Adams Memorial Christmas Event for local children on Christmas Eve, from 11am to 5pm at the downtown fire station  #1 located at 421 East Jackson Street. Every child that attends will receive a FREE picture with Santa, hot chocolate and cookies, a candy cane, and a gift. Tillotson Avenue Project Extended and Lane Restrictions To Continue Into Summer 2025

By Michael Bianski— MUNCIE, IN —Indiana Michigan Power (I&M) is extending the ongoing work on the Tillotson Avenue Transmission Line Project due to damage found in the existing underground infrastructure. Crews working to improve the electric reliability for customers in the area planned to install a new power line in an existing underground duct bank, which was found to be damaged. The duct bank is necessary for installing new power lines. As a result, a section along York Prairie Creek off Tillotson Avenue needs to be rebuilt. The Community Foundation of Muncie and Delaware County manages more than 50 scholarships. Scholarship awards totaling more than $200,000 benefit students each year. Local Community Unites to Support Foster Care Youth with ‘Comfort Cases Packing Party’ in Muncie
