Panoramic photos taken by race’s first official photographer in May 1911 Indianapolis—The countdown is on to the 100th running of the Indianapolis 500, and the Indiana Historical Society (IHS) is marking the occasion with four historic panoramic images, now available to the public online. The panoramic images date back to the inaugural running of the Indianapolis 500 Mile Race on May 30, 1911. Taken by Charles F. Muncie, Ind. – Delaware County nonprofit organizations can now access profiles of approximately 1,000 funders awarding grants in Indiana. The Indiana Philanthropy Alliance Directory of Indiana Grantmakers 2016 is available through a partnership between The Community Foundation of Muncie and Delaware County, Inc. and the Muncie Public Library. The Directory of Indiana Grantmakers, published by the Indiana Philanthropy Alliance, is an online database that profiles approximately 1,000 funders awarding grants in Indiana.
