MUNCIE, IN—Get ready to see TeenWorks impact firsthand at the 3rd Annual Taste of TeenWorks—an after-work event that brings the community together to celebrate the next generation of leaders.
The event will take place on Thursday, May 1, 2025 beginning at 5:30 p.m. at MadJax in downtown Muncie. Madjax is located at 515 E. Main St, Muncie, IN 47305.
Prepare to indulge in delicious tastings from local favorites while connecting with the inspiring young people who are making strides in their careers through TeenWorks. This evening is more than simply great food—it is a chance to support and champion a mission that transforms lives. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with the community, hear success stories, and learn how TeenWorks is shaping the youth of tomorrow.
Work-based learning goes beyond theory—it’s about real-world experience. It’s one thing to understand the skills needed for success, but true growth comes from applying them in meaningful ways. TeenWorks provides teens with these hands-on opportunities, helping them build confidence, explore career paths, and develop the tools they need to thrive. Through immersive experiences, mentorship, and community connections, TeenWorks empowers young people with the resources to take charge of their futures.
Our flagship summer program engages teens in Anderson, Fort Wayne, Indianapolis, and Muncie with 6-weeks of community-based work and weekly professional development. From there, teens can apply to participate in the year-round-Pro program where they can grow as a professional though entry-level work and later more sophisticated jobs, internships, and apprenticeships. The Alumni Program provides ongoing support as teens transition to education and career.
