By: Scott Trout— Muncie’s own award-winning Magic City Music Men will be presenting a Community Sing and Ice Cream Social on Saturday July 23 at First Presbyterian Church, 1400 West Riverside in Muncie. The Community Sing, which is a mixed voices event, will begin at 10:00 am for the learning workshop. The two musical pieces will then be presented at the Ice Cream Social at 2:30 pm. MUNCIE, IN—Thousands of pilots from across the country will visit the Academy of Model Aeronautics’ International Aeromodeling Center (IAC) throughout the month of July and the beginning of August for the National Aeromodeling Championships (Nats). Pilots come to Muncie to compete in various categories of model flying competition. Each competitor comes to win—some even try to earn spots on US teams that participate in world championships.
