Boys & Girls Club of Muncie Raises $23,000 at Great Futures Luncheon

Youth Opportunity Center’s Capital Campaign Exceeds Goal

New Grocery Carts Available For Use on MITS Buses

By: Mike Rhodes— Muncie, IN—Karen Howells was responsible for starting Edible Muncie of Delaware County in 2015. Edible Muncie is a non-profit organization involved in reducing food insecurity and food deserts in Delaware County. Karen  applied for a grant from Walmart to provide carts to MITS bus riders in order to make getting groceries home via MITS easier. The carts and the insulated bags that will sit inside the carts are now available. ‘Website Thru The Nite’ Creates Websites for 5 Local Non-Profits

Autism is known as a “spectrum disorder,” meaning that although it is defined by a certain set of behaviors, children and adults with autism can exhibit any combination of these behaviors in any degree of severity. According to the 2017 KIDS COUNT® in Indiana Data Book, an estimated one in 68 American youth have been diagnosed with ASD.
