By: Jud Fisher— Ball Brothers Foundation has issued grants totaling $10,000 to protect the health and safety of local law enforcement officers who come into contact with hazardous drug manufacturing materials. As meth lab seizures are at an all-time high in Delaware County, BBF funding will provide officers from the Muncie Police Department and the Delaware County Sheriff’s Department with personal protective equipment. Nearly 50,000 tickets have already been sold for the Dec. 18 premiere, which will be shown in about 4,100 theaters across the nation. Cornerstone, a pillar in the community for almost a century, will receive an update to its electrical and mechanical systems, helping to propel the historic building into the 21st century.
